My favorite REAL FOOD snacks

I am 100% a snacker, I go crazy when I don't have snacks in the house. When I snack I want my choices to be real food with clean ingredients that I can actually pronounce on the package, nothing overly processed and full of artificial ingredients. So I wanted to share with you guys my favorite REAL FOOD snacks that I love to keep stocked up.

 

My #1 favorite thing to have stocked up is:

  1. Siete grain free tortilla chips: These are make with cassava flour (a mineral rich root vegetable), avocado oil, coconut flour and chia seeds. HELLO CLEAN AND CLEAR INGREDIENTS! These are grain free, gluten free, vegan, paleo and soy free. YES they are freaking delicious and flavorful.
  2. Simple Mills soft baked cookies: These are made with almond flour and sweetened with honey. All the ingredients are again, clean and clear. All the simple mills products use real food, no added colors, dyes, artificial flavors or preservatives. Always gluten free, plant based, paleo, grain free, and soy free!
  3. Simple Mills almond flour crackers: Once again simple mills ingredients are bomb.com, each flavor has a bit different ingredients. Yep, you guessed it, gluten free, plant based, paleo and soy free! BOMB with some hummus.
  4. Hummus: Hummus is always so good with everything, today I got the HOPE brand hummus and hellllllo check that flavor out, spicy avocado YAS KWEEN. Again, all the ingredients I can pronounce!
  5. Perfect bar: This bar is a plant based protein bar, made with nut butter as the base. So if you like nut butter this is perfect for you! They have so many different flavors my favorite right now is the brownie. Gluten free, plant based.
  6. Zevia zero calorie soda or topo chico: If i'm craving something bubbly these are my go to! Zevia is sweetened only with stevia (plant based sweetener) and topo chico is just good DUH. 
  7. Fruits and Veggies: I always have to have fruits and veggies my favorite to always have on hand are apples, bell pepper and some type of greens like spinach! Pairing the veggies with hummus and paring apples with nut butter. 

These are my staples, always look the the package and choose products with real food. We don't realize all the processed stuff we put in our bodies on a daily bases, why not treat your body with respect and feed it REAL FOOD? I hope this gives you guys some ideas on where to start when you have a late night craving.
