Hello friends!
YES, I finally made a new blog. (anyone remember the good ol' days of "the avocado advocate" from 2010ish?!) I finally have a space to share all kinds of goodies, like recipes, fitness tips, mental/physical wellness tips...ect. SO ESSSSITED. I have a lot of ideas running through my head that need to get out!
Let me introduce myself to the people who don't really know me:
My name is Loren Miche, i'm 24 years old. Born and raised in Texas! I have been eating healthy and have been obsessed with health foods and recipes since 2010. I just really love to share my tips and advice to people just trying to live a healthier life and if I can at least help one person in this world live a healthier life then i'm satisfied.
12 Facts About Me:
- I have a MAJOR sweet tooth. My favorite night time snack is Nada Moo chocolate ice cream or dark chocolate. (I got it from my momma)
- I am a certified Personal Trainer. I love helping people be their best selfs, I like to help people feel confident in their own skin and really push their limits to show them what they're truly made of.
- I've been doing yoga for 9 years now. I'm so thankful I started yoga because it has helped me through some of the roughest times. Yoga has been there with me through it all. (i'll get more into why it helps me in a future post)
- I have a baby daddy, we have two FUR BABIES. No children for now. We have a kitty named Ronin and a pug named Zeeva. They're my BFFs.
- I LOVE nature, my happy place is when i'm outdoors in the sun. Ideally 75-80 degrees, please!
- I've always wanted to move to Portland, Oregon or Denver, Colorado. Out of the two i'd probably choose Denver because ya girl can't live without sunny days almost all year round. Maybe some day.
- I was in jazz, ballet and contemporary dance when I was younger and I really miss it. I really want to learn how to dance hip-hop but I am SO STIFF.
- I was vegan for a few years then pescatarian for 3.5 years, it was all great but now i'm more about balance and eating whole, real foods. Believe me though I make BOMB vegan meals. I still eat vegan meals through out my week.
- I never used to listen to my body. Now I know when I should be resting, eating certain foods, drinking water or whatever it may be. I know how to listen to my body and I know what it wants. I used to be all about 'go go go, no pain no GAINZZZZZZZ!" mentality. Which is all good and dandy.... until you get hurt and feel so run down. Now I know how to properly take care of my mind, body and spirit.
- I love everything about nutrition, I love to look up the benefits of foods and researching the heck out of how and why foods are good for you. I believe food is medicine, food can do it all, its like magic!
- When I was 12 or 13 a kid threw a quarter at my face and half my tooth broke off, now half my front tooth is fake. Can you believe that, a quarter of all things!
- Sometimes when i'm angry a southern accent comes out, not sure where that comes from.
